Porthos is spearheading a project aimed at transporting and storing CO2 emitted by industries in the Port of Rotterdam into depleted gas fields beneath the North Sea. The initiative entails the storage of approximately 37 million tons of CO2, equating to an annual storage capacity of around 2.5 million tons over a 15-year period.
