ESPID 2022: 40th Annual Meeting of the European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases

The 40th Annual Meeting of the European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases (ESPID 2022) will take place 9-13 May 2022. We are excited to announce the opportunity to meet not only in person in Athens, but also online for those unable to travel, and to enjoy the collegial atmosphere that is unique to ESPID meetings. It will also be a special milestone for our community in that we will come together to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Meeting. ESPID 2022 participants will have the opportunity to attend lectures given by world-renowned clinicians, researchers and scientists who are experts in infectious diseases as well as from related disciplines such as public health and epidemiology, immunology, microbiology, and more. ESPID 2022 participants will also have the opportunity to present their research, meet others with similar interests, reinforce existing collaborations, and form new relationships. There will also be exciting opportunities for young professionals through the Walter Marget Workshop (registered trainees), the ESPID Research Masterclass (researchers), as well as dedicated sessions and networking meetings. In short, this meeting will involve the presentation, sharing, and development of cutting-edge knowledge vital to research, diagnosis, management, care and prevention of infections in children.
