Panel Speakers Bios Deirdre Barrett, Ph.D. is an author and psychologist who teaches at Harvard Medical School. She is known for her research on dreams, hypnosis and imagery and has written on evolutionary psychology. Barrett is a Past President of The International Association for the Study of Dreams and of the American Psychological Association’s Div. 30, The Society for Psychological Hypnosis. Kelly Bulkeley, Ph.D. is director of the Sleep and Dream Database, a former President of the International Association for the Study of Dreams, and Senior Editor of the APA journal Dreaming, he has written and edited several books, including Big Dreams: The Science of Dreaming and the Origins of Religion (Oxford University Press, 2016). Joseph A. Dandurand is the Indigenous Storyteller in Residence at Vancouver Public Library, and the Director of the Kwantlen Cultural Center located on the Fraser River. He is an accomplished poet, playwright, researcher, and archaeologist. Leslie Ellis, PhD, RCC. is a Vancouver based author, teacher, and psychotherapist. She recently completed a book on the clinical use of dreams (August 2019). Ana Mozol, PhD, RCC. RCC, is the founder and director of Dreamwork Theatre in Vancouver, and the author of A Re-Visioning of Love: Dark Feminine Rising, is being published by Routledge in June 2019.
