As unmanned aerial system (UAS) threats continue to proliferate across the Indo-Pacific, challenging force protection, base security, and maritime operations for allied nations, we are delighted to launch the first Counter UAS conference dedicated to the Pacific operational environment. This comes at a critical time, with the Pentagon recently announcing $153.3 billion in additional defence funding - including $12.3 billion allocated to US Pacific Command (USPACOM) - highlighting the growing priority placed on countering emerging regional threats. Counter UAS Indo-Pacific will bring together APAC, U.S., and allied defence leaders, industry innovators, and policymakers in Hawaii, the strategic hub of USPACOM and a key centre for regional operational coordination.
