Scripps Health’s Primary Care Summer Conference was designed by primary care physicians for primary care physicians and their care team and will present content from their unique perspective. The 2020 course will feature important updates in infectious disease, pulmonary medicine, stroke, and sleep disorders. Current treatments for heart failure patients, dermatology updates, and tools for creating an LGBTQ inclusive practice will also be covered. This year's course will also offer a three-part skills workshop designed for providers looking for an update on musculoskeletal examination and injection techniques as well as those looking to further their skill set. In addition to an overview of the history and current science of a variety of specialty areas, content will be presented in a very practical, patient-focused manner relevant to the specific primary care setting and challenges.
