Memo

The 17th St.Gallen Breast Cancer Conference will be held in Vienna, Austria, from March 17 to 20, 2021 and can be followed either in person or virtually via an interactive conference platform. For many years the traditional conference, which attracts around 3.000 delegates from all over the globe, has set the benchmark in primary therapy of early breast cancer. The conference is renowned for its high level of quality as well as its top speakers representing the best in breast cancer research and therapy worldwide. Experts of virtually all major cooperative groups and centres world-wide actively engaged in basic and clinical research as well as in clinical management of breast cancer will present their latest data, critically reviewed by leading specialists in the field. The highlight of the congress is the St.Gallen Breast Cancer Consensus, in which up to 60 experts gather on stage to engage in a live-voting process on therapy of early breast cancer, which shapes treatment procedures for the following two years. Participants are sure to witness history in the making for the good of breast cancer patients worldwide. The adapted consensus guidelines and its related scientific core issues will be published in summer 2021. The conference, which will be held in Vienna, Austria for the fourth time, combines the best of Swiss precision and thoroughness with the strengths of Vienna as a destination: a centrally located meeting place of cultures, which attracts researchers and clinicians from all over the world. In addition, Vienna is a treasure trove of culture and history. Be it music, architecture or cuisine, there will not be a dull moment during congress hours and after. The event is supported by an industry exhibition, showcasing the latest technology for breast cancer diagnosis and care. Industry will also have the opportunity to hold their own activities for the benefit of attendees. Abstracts are accepted from August 28 2020. The submission period ends on 11 December 2020.
