6th WPC Conference, Cologne (Wood and Natural Fibre Composites)

“New opportunities through successful market establishment” is the theme of the largest European WPC conference, whose sixth edition will attract over 300 interested professionals from 20 countries to the Maritim Hotel in Cologne, Germany.

Wood-Plastic Composites are one of the world’s fastest growing bio-based materials. Over three million tonnes of WPC are currently produced worldwide, mainly for use in extruded decking. Yet there are also an increasing number of applications using injection moulding, especially for consumer goods.

A range of topics that address the whole scope of biocomposites will be presented by top speakers from the industry and research; nova-Institute has announced the first speakers that have confirmed to present their latest products and innovations: Corbion-Purac (NL), FKuR (DE), Renolit (DE), Association of the German Wood-Based Panel Industry (VHI) (DE), Wood k plus (AT), Fraunhofer Institute for Wood Research WKI (DE) and PolyOne (USA).
