A special event entitled, "Theory, Algorithms and Applications of Dissipative Particle Dynamics," will take place September 21 - 23, 2015 at Shanghai University. The workshop focuses on mesoscopic science, a science which bridges the gap between microscopic and macroscopic worlds. Dissipative particle dynamics (DPD) is a coarse-grained method designed for mesoscopic simulations. It has become one of the most widely used methods for mesoscopic modeling due to its simplicity together with high computational efficiency, and flexibility in modeling thermodynamic and kinetic properties. In this workshop, the professors and experts, who have made significant contributions to the theory, algorithms and applications of DPD, are invited to give featured talks.
