The Economics Research Unit of the Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER), will hold A Panel on “Media Economics”, 22-25 May 2017, Athens, Greece as part of the 12th Annual International Symposium on Economic Theory, Policy and Applications sponsored by the Athens Journal of Mass Media and Communications.



The aim of the panel is to bring together academics and researchers of all areas of the industry of news, film, entertainment, print, broadcast, mobile communications, internet, advertising-promotion and public relations. Please note that selected papers from the panel will be considered for publication in the Athens Journal of Mass Media and Communications.

Special arrangements will be made with a local hotel for a limited number of rooms at a special conference rate. In addition, a number of special events will be organized: A Greek night of entertainment with dinner, a special one-day cruise to selected Greek islands, an archaeological tour of Athens and a one-day visit to Delphi.
