A Panel on “International Finance”

The Finance Research Unit of the Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER) organizes a Panel on “International Finance”, 3-6 July, 2017 as part of the 15thAnnual International Conference on Finance, 3-6 July 2017, Athens, Greece sponsored by the Athens Journal of Business & Economics.



International finance plays an important role in globalized economy with its instruments, participants, markets and regulations. Special role is played by financial institutions. There is no denying the fact, that effective banking strategy depends on accurate assessment of common problems and a search for mutual solutions to increase quality of life and to meet new challenges for sustainable development. Fast liberation of financial-economic relations leads sometimes to decline in economic developments and requires effective risk management. To find the way in turbulence is the main task for public institutions, that has to use different vehicles, intergovernmental monetary and fiscal measures including. Important role in international financing is played by intergovernmental support of economic entities, which helps to find optimal solution for financial relations and technology transfers. Fruitful cooperation depends on harmonization of the main principles of cooperation and is linked with the provision the consumers with high quality of services for the reasonable price. Actual priority is the development of economic relations with historic and geographical partners, based on reasonable consideration of other world. These are the main topics for contemporary international finance to be discussed within the panel. You may participate as presenter of one paper, chair a session or observer.



Special arrangements will be made with a local hotel for a limited number of rooms at a special conference rate. In addition, a number of social events will be organized: A Greek night of entertainment with dinner, a special one-day cruise to selected Greek islands, an archaeological tour of Athens and a one-day visit to Delphi.
