Memo  ATINER organizes a Stream on “Corporate Social Responsibility in a Global Economy”, 18-21 December 2017, Athens, Greece as part of the 11th Annual International Conference on Global Studies: Business, Economic, Political, Social and Cultural Aspects. Corporate citizenship and the company’s responsibilities in society and the environment have become central considerations amongst companies around the globe. A manifestation of this concern is Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and related fields in business and ethics that include, for example, philanthropy, social investment or the creation of shared value. This stream aims to gather academics and researchers to discuss their work in the field and to consider the promise, success or failure of CSR and corporate citizenship in a global economy now characterised in part by greater consolidation and in part by fragmentation. You may participate as presenter of one paper, chair or/and organizer of a session, or observer. Fee structure information is available on Special arrangements will be made with a local hotel for a limited number of rooms at a special conference rate. In addition, a number of special events will be organized: A pragmatic symposium (as organized in Ancient Athens but fine tuned to synchronous ethics), a special one-day educational island tour, an Athens educational walking tour, and an one-day visit to Delphi.
