||The Education Research Unit of the Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER) will hold A Panel on “Identity and Difference: Education Meeting Refugee Crisis Phenomenon”, 15-18 May 2017, Athens, Greece as part of its 19th Annual International Conference on Education sponsored by the Athens Journal of Education.
This panel on identity of education within refugee crisis context has purpose to encourage academics from different educational fields and geopolitical areas to discuss about connections between the following:
refugee crisis and society
refugee crisis and history
refugee crisis and cultural migration and heritage
refugee crisis and juridical system
refugee crisis and economic progress
refugee crisis and (political) philosophy
refugee crisis and ethics
refugee crisis and European educational system
refugee crisis and Project management
The right to education is universal right and belongs to every human being, weather of his or her racial or cultural or economic or social or religious or juridical and moral affiliation.

Special arrangements will be made with a local hotel for a limited number of rooms at a special conference rate. In addition, a number of special events will be organized: A Greek night of entertainment with dinner, a special one-day cruise to selected Greek islands, an archaeological tour of Athens and a one-day visit to Delphi.
